		<description>everything you do involves learning. video games are just a great way to learn, apply and repeat until mastered.  with something like, say, planning a vacation for example, you learn after the trip what you should have done better and what you did right, but you can&#039;t proceed to plan 10 more trips in a row until you have mastered trip planning because it&#039;s unpractical.  a video game can be mastered with little cost because, in general, it is a one time fee (or free...) to obtain the game and if you&#039;re playing it, then you&#039;re probably enjoying yourself so there&#039;s generally very little opportunity cost as well (unless it&#039;s hideously addictive and takes over your life, like WoW)...
so, in answer to your rhetorical question, yes and no.  yes it could be because it is another way of learning, but it&#039;s probably more like it&#039;s a great opportunity to learn and master a skill quickly, because pretty much everything we do is just another way of learning...</description>
