I didn't know any of this, but it is quite fascinating. I had read part of Einstein's autobiography and knew that he suffered from some personality flaws, but it's certainly surprising to hear about it with somebody like MLK. I guess that's just the effect that naturally occurs when somebody is taken out before their time. They become idolized-- "legendary" almost, and become immune to criticism.
