My position is that I don&#039;t know what&#039;s happening, but even if climate change fear is largely founded, pushing forward and becoming as rich and advanced as possible before problems arise is much more likely to save us than destroying much of the wealth we stand to create.  Still, I sometimes think about if I was running for president, what would I say on the subject. If we reasonably and verifiably decide that some sort of damage is done to the world that the market does not price in, we can create a tax that slowly ramps up to make the carbon price the &quot;true&quot; price.  This money could then be used to lower the flat or duel rate and grow the standard refund of my preferred negative income tax.  That&#039;s the best compromise I can come up with.</description>
